Spotlight On…Houston
The Art Show 2024 marks the launch of our“Spotlight On…” initiative which will feature a different city every year with a robust cohort of ADAA member galleries. This year’s focus will be the vibrant arts community of Houston.
“Spotlight On…Houston” will serve as a platform for an in-depth exploration of the city’s distinctive cultural scene, bringing its foremost artists, curators, museum directors, dealers, cultural advocates, and collectors together to highlight the innovative work taking place in its institutions, alternative art spaces, and galleries.
There will be a series of “Spotlight On… Houston” panel discussions held on Wednesday, October 30 at the fair, including conversations with Houston’s institutional leaders and collectors:
3:30pm: Houston Collectors Forum
ADAA collaborated with Texas-based filmmakers, Walley Films, to create a short documentary featuring Houston ADAA members—Inman Gallery, McClain Gallery, Josh Pazda Hiram Butler, Sicardi | Ayers | Bacino, and Texas Gallery—which is on view at the fair. Watch it below!
